Rolling Stone Vintage Offers A Lot More Than Just Vintage Tees

With the economy like it is, many fashionistas are saving their hard earned dollars by upcycling and recycling clothes. They are emulating the items they covet through DIY clothing projects and are thrifting and shopping for vintage clothes like never before. Thrifting and vintage shopping are two things that should be done a lot more. Frankly, if you want quality items in your closet that will last you for years to come, then it shouldn’t matter what season or year your purchases are. Many times, thrifting and vintage offer much better prices on designer clothes, no matter what year they were produced.
I stumbled across Rolling Stone Vintage, an amazing vintage online boutique, and thought it would be absolutely perfect to feature on Unfunded. Rolling Stone is not like your average vintage shop. Oh no, my friends – this place is fierce! I really appreciate when an online shop takes the time to make their store visually pleasing, rather than just slabbing their products on a blank canvas with the hopes of inspiring you enough to make a purchase. Rolling Stone slaps you in the face with its graphic detail, a mix of edginess, rock + roll and preppy-chic. Not only does Rolling Stone look good, but it boasts some pretty impressive features, as well. My favorite feature? Rolling Stone Vintage offers styling services!
Vintage shopping can be difficult. I can’t count how many times I’ve wanted to buy some amazing vintage piece but had no idea what I’d pair it with. Times like those are when I wish I was shopping at Rolling Stone. If you are seriously coveting something in the shop but have no idea what you’d wear it with or how you’d wear it, contact one of Rolling Stone’s amazing stylists (through their extra handy chat service or shoot them an email and they’ll respond within 24 hours) and they will steer you in the right direction. Rolling Stone also has a Vintage Fashion Guide, which displays different looks that are currently in trend and shows you how to master those looks effortlessly using products from their shop. Pretty revolutionary, right?
I challenged Bryna, owner of Rolling Stone, to a task to test her abilities in this coveted art of styling. I picked two items from Rolling Stone, and told her to style them in an edgy rock + roll vibe. I’d say she passed with flying colors.
MY CHALLENGE: Use the two items below and style them up in an edgy, rock + roll way.
ROLLING STONE’S RESPONSE: Pure genius.

If you’re a vintage lover, like me, you have to check out Rolling Stone Vintage. It’s a quality vintage store, offering way more than just vintage tees, and includes items at all price points. If you’re new to vintage, and a bit intimidated by the whole vintage shopping experience, chat with one of their stylists and they will help you in your journey to vintage expertise!

Unfunded,
Girl… you rock it. And, they do too! Vintage is not only going green, cheaper than boutiques for better quality clothes and most of all… UNIQUE. You won’t see yourself walking down the street. Especially when it comes to formal events. One of a kind is where it is at.
I just opened my own online vintage clothing store, so I can’t wait to learn a few tricks from these guys.
