Victoria Beckham and Tailored Pantalones

Although I love them, I’m really tired of seeing (and wearing) skinny jeans. They are a style that will be around forever, but I think they’ve been a bit too overexposed the past few seasons. My purchase for Fall? Tailored pants. They’re pretty versatile – pair them with a blouse (like Mrs. Beckham) for a work-friendly outfit, or a tight tank and tons of accessories for something a little edgier and different.

Nylon Magazine has even gotten in on the tailored pants selection for Fall (though they name the pants above “mom jeans,” which, yeah, they are…but still, I’m trying to prove a point here). The key is to buy pants that aren’t reminiscent of mom jeans. An awesome tip is to always tuck your shirt in when you’re wearing pants that might have a little more poof around your waist. If you were to wear jeans, like the ones above, with an over sized destructed tee (un-tucked) you would look like a cow. And I do believe you want the opposite of that. And don’t think you have to get a pair of boring work trousers, either. There are plenty of edgy and stylish selections out there.
