The Middle Ground

I’ve been hunting for a decent pair of moto boots for the past month. I’m pretty sure I want the moto boot to be my main fall shoe staple. As of yet, no luck. If I find something AMAZING it ends up being over $300. If I find something affordable it ends up being the cheapest shit ever. I can’t justify saving money on something that is clearly and obviously a piece of crap. It seems as if there is no middle ground when it comes to this. You’ve got the ridiculously overpriced-yet-amazing quality, and the extremely affordable fake leather crap that looks like you got it out of a vending machine. WTF? I’m still on the search for that perfect boot but, in the mean time, I’ve managed to find something that nicely balances out affordability and quality. (Affordability, to me, means under $125). Although they aren’t real leather, they look like they could be. And while they aren’t my final end-all purchase of fall boots, I think they are a rather good start.
I got them in black – the website doesn’t have a picture of the black ones. Oddly enough, the store I was at yesterday didn’t have the brown ones. Go figure. The black ones are pretty rad actually – and only $60. The buckles don’t look cheap and the leather looks and feels real. The heel doesn’t feel like cheap, fake wood, and the slouch isn’t too 80’s. Perfectly western/rocker. I love them. Get them at Cathy Jean. Cathy Jean has been an awesome source of affordable, quality shoes for me lately. Think of them as a step under Aldo – which is completely do-able.

LOVE THEM!!! I’m getting them!!!
OK…I ordered them……..NOW tel me how to wear them!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
hey girl!
these are really cute! what would you wear them with? skinny jeans? or….?
Hey! I actually wore them today with skinny jeans and a big plaid shirt. But I’d also wear them with a skirt or shorts or leggings…pretty much anything.
